ATCHESON
RESIDENCE
This
home had a large existing landscape of grass and weeds. The
yard has some strange angles that were difficult to design
into a comfortable area. By using berms and terraces, we were
able to make the yard feel a little smaller, more intimate.
We used a variety of Penstemons and Agastaches as well as
other natives to keep the water use to a minimum. The new
grass is a turf type Tall Fescue which uses less water than
the existing Kentucky Bluegrass. The new deck was built from
recycled plastics and shaped to take advantage of the new
vistas.
